back in utah

i spent last the last 4.5 days with my sister amy hanging out at her house with her, my bro-in-law, and my 2 nephews. i helped paint a room pink, watched bolt about 4 times as well as meatball movie (aka: cloudy with a change of meatballs), russell up movie (aka: up), monsters movie (aka: monsters inc.), 2012, paul blart mall cop, never back down, some episodes of i didn't know i was pregnant, pawn shop, and dating in the dark...among other things. safe to say that we sat on the couch all day and had big bowls of ice cream every night :) my kind of life! except for the whole waistline thing...oh yeah that has kind of gone to pieces this summer...dangit. i'm hoping that my walking and sweating in jerusalem will help that get back to where it was, and that the cafeteria in the center will not destroy me more. but i had a great time hanging out in socal with my sister and her family! i love them! and i can't wait to see pictures of my soon to arrive twin baby nieces.

some other AWESOME news that came this week was that my other sister is GETTING MARRIED!!!!!!! :) :) :) to an italian man named luigi! the whole thing makes me mighty happy. i don't think it will really hit me that my sister is actually moving to italy until after the fact, but hey, now i have the best excuse ever to go travel through italy! visit my lovely sister and her husband! me and janine have talked for years about going to italy together so she can show me around this place that she loves, so i know it'll really happen now someday in the semi-near future. i really like luigi from the times i've talked to him on the phone and skype with my sister translating (he's going to learn english though!). i love the way my name sounds in an italian accent!!!! so congrats to my sister! she looks so happy and i love it and her =D

now i'm back in provo and don't really know what to do with myself! this morning i went on a run that i used to go on a lot that wasn't necessarily easy, but not that hard either, and this morning it was sort of death. gahhhhh, lame elevation, hills, and out of shapeness! then i walked to the grocery store to get a few things to tide me over this weekend, as well as some stuff i decided i needed for jerusalem. now just to figure it all out with the weight limit. i need more shirts - the whole dress code thing is a little hard, and i don't beleive i have enough. i must make my way to a clothing store. at the store i also indulged and got some more chocolate soy milk and chili cheese fritos (yeah, i realize that the fact that i bought these doesn't add up with my whole thing above about my waistline but...) since i will not be having them for a long while :) yummmm. so now i know i have stuff to do and people i want to see, but don't know where to start.

i just really want to leave actually. right now. but its still 5 days. hurry up and lets begin the longest day of flying ever so i can start the next 3 1/2 months of life!

So it begins...

I've thought a long while about getting a blog, but never think that anyone could possibly be interested in my life. So I've kept things to myself and the world still turns round. I love reading people's blogs though. And I feel like I could possibly have something interesting to contribute to the world in the coming months!  I am quite excited for my HUGE adventure that will begin very soon. 13 days to be exact. Until I'm flying across the world. For those of you who don't know, my destination in less than 2 weeks is Jerusalem, Israel for a study abroad program though my university. Oh yeah. :)
